Choosing the right wet mop is like choosing the right car, it depends on where you are going to use it, how much abuse it's going to take and how much money you want to spend. - anonymous

Choosing the right wet mop is important to over all mopping efficiency. The determining factors should be size, content and construction.

A wet mop should be sized both to the person who will be mopping and to the ringer with which it will be used; you should properly match the operator’s physical size to the mop size to prevent fatigue and low productivity. Himesa’s wet mops are available in a variety of yarns. Each yarn is designed for a specific purpose.

Floor Surface:

Tile, Wood and Marble offer little or no abuse on the mop. Terrazzo, Rough Flooring and Anti Slip surfaces are very abusive to the mop.

Environments:

Where the mop is going to be used is another important factor, repeated laundering, germ resistant yarn, mop debris, color coding are all elements of an environment that influences the decision making.

Application:

Not only should you choose from the type of surface and the environment but also you should choose for what do you need the mop… Damp cleaning, disinfecting, stripping, etc. Is one of the main factors in choosing the right mop.
